Dream Classic to return Missouri vs Kansas high school football game is scheduled for July 14.
Author: From The Star's Staff

The third annual Metro Dream Classic, a high school all-star football game involving recently graduated seniors from the Kansas City area, will be at 7 p.m. July 14 at the Blue Valley District Activities Complex.

The game, featuring a squad of Kansas all-stars against a team of Missouri all-stars, is a fund-raiser for the Dream Factory.

Oak Park's Keith Ross will coach the Missouri all-stars; Paul Brown of Bishop Miege will coach the Kansas team. The 45-man rosters for each team were chosen by the Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Association, after nominations by Kansas City area coaches.

Practices for each team will begin July 5. The first Metro Dream Classic was played in 1992 at Arrowhead Stadium. This year's game will not be at Arrowhead because of renovations at the stadium, including the installation of natural grass.

Tickets will go on sale June 17 at Jones Store locations. They are $5 in advance and $7 at the gate.
